I’m newbie about MT.
I’ve been googling for a few days, can read a lot, Indonesian or English, but have not found the solution.
My question:
- How to setting mikrotik for video conference, for 3 parties in 3 different cities?
The story:
We have 3 offices, in Pati (my location), Bekasi, and Jakarta. These three offices use a Polycom brand video conferencing device. This device uses the SIP or H.323 protocol. Currently we still able to make conference 3 places at once. But this is using VPN IP service from Telkom (a provider). I want to disconnect Telkom’s service. I want to replace with ISP with dedicated internet service.
I think, the three points I will connect with (sort) tunnel.
Next Question:
2. As far as I know, tunnel is point to point. Can a tunnel be made between 3 points, then a route table to connect the 3 parties?
3. If using a tunnel, which tunnel? How is the routing?
4. Is there another way to accomplish? I’ve read there was multicast, but I do not really understand. Or MPLS, this also I do not really understand
All I need is, via the internet, all three points must be video conferencing simultaneously, with SIP or H.323 protocol.
