We have recently purchased 29.5 dBi Grid antennas and connected that with some R52N cards on RB433AH Boards, the cards were not detected by die current O/S on the board, so i’ve upgraded to the Beta4 release. I have installed the antennas, one been Horizontal and other Vertical. The R52N card has a J2 and J3 connector where I connect the pixtails of both antennas. The antennas are close installed to each other and they point to the other B-Site. The same configuration is been used on the B-Side. When I set freq to 5GhzN-only and set the B-Side to AP/BRIDE option, when i do a scan i do not pickup the B-Side AP SSID name, neither the radio. The A-B side distance is about 20km.
On the A-side I set the mode to Station, the alignment has been done successfully, however no luck picking up the signal from the B-Side AP/Bridge unit.
My question, did I connect the antennas correctly and should they by so close to each other.
On the A-side i connect the Horizontal antenna to the J2 side and did the same on the B-side;
On the A-side i connect the Vertical antenna to the J3 side and did the same on the B-side;
I hope someone can help, I’m farely new to Mikrotik, I love the product to far.
