Setup of em7305/mc7305 card

I have a couple of LTE cards which are em7305 and em7430. I have an adapter to switch from the m.2 interface to mini pci express. I then have another adapter that converts mini pci express to USB. Using the 2 adapters I can get either card to work with my laptop, so I know the cards and adapters work ok. I have then tried using a single adapter to put the card into my Mikrotik board 912UAG-2HPnD or both adapters to put it in the MikroTik’s usb port. Either way I can see either card under resources but they don’t show as an adapter. What am I doing wrong? I’ve tried google but there is a single link for em7305 and MikroTik and it doesn’t help. I can see mc73xx is a supported device but em73xx is not.

I’m thinking (hoping) it’s not on the list because it requires an adaptor. It does detect it in resources

If ROS sees device, then physically module is fine. However, just because ROS can show name of device (that’s simple PCI ID to text mapping) it doesn’t mean ROS has appropriate drivers, these two things are not connected at all.
