hi everyone, I’m new on this forum and I have already made a search but without success, I’m switching from netgear to mikrotik switch to have a 10gbe backbone between a CSS610-8G-2S+IN and a CSS326-24G-2S+RM both with the same sfp+ : 6C-SFP±SR that I have read that should be compatible with mikrotik hardware.
when I put the sfp in the switch didn’t blink on the act led, I have to untick the auto negotiation setting on both switch in order to have active, but in the top down menu for the speed i have only 10M 100M and 1G and not 10G, moreover also the 10G led is off.
with 1G works fine, but i have the exactly same speed as before.

This is official SFP+ compatibility matrix. You won’t see any 3rd party modules on it, which means they are not officially supported (although they might work just fine). FWIW, even some own MT’s modules are not working with certain modules.
Are you using RouterOs or SwitchOS ?
On RouterOs ther are no Top-Down Menu ..
thank you, I have seen the compatibility list but I didn’t found any available model on amazon italy (easiest way to buy something for me) but in the comments I found that was compatible for a customer and also on item description, moreover I think if it’s not compatible will not work neither in 1GB or not?

quick update: i bought 2 s+85dlc03d that are in the compatibility list and both costs more than one switch… but I have the same problem, still 1 GB and no 10GB available, tried with autonegotiation on the sfp module didn’t show up, without only 1G available in both the switches and also in a CSS610-1GI-7R-2S+OUT. I tried also another fiber patch, shorter than the one I need to use but I have the same issue
another update, I bought a brand new fiber cable: Cavo Fibra Ottica 50m, OM3 LC a LC Multimodale Duplex 50/125um Cavo Patch Fibra LSZH per 10Gb SFP+/SFP Transceiver

that is certified as compatible with all mikrotik devices for 10G
but I still have maximum 1GB and I have to untik the auto negotiation flag othewise the link is off:
I really don’t know what to do now unless make a return of everything and leave the idea to have an affordable 10GB backbone in my house
