I have a TP-Link TL-SM321B SFP module (https://www.tp-link.com/en/business-networking/accessory/tl-sm321b/). This is a WDM Bi-Directional SFP Module.
- Does the RB260GS support this SFP?
- Does Mikrotik provide a WDM Bi-Directional SFP Module supported by the RB260GS?
I have attempted to use the module in my RB260GS, but I only see packet transmission statistics on the SFP port, but zero packets received.
Mikrotik has a compatibility list for the SFPs…
The mikrotik SFP compatibility list only lists Mikrotik SFPs (https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/MikroTik_SFP_module_compatibility_table) - I was asking specifically about non-mikrotik SFP compatibility.
I also scrolled through https://mikrotik.com/products/group/interfaces, but could not see any WDM Bidi modules.
If there are no other SFP listed it simply means you should try and see…
There is https://mikrotik.com/product/S-3553LC20D. It’s in the list, and supported by the RB260.
But your TP-Link SFP works in my CCR1036-8G-2S+.
The TL-SM321B SFP did not work with the RB260GS using SwOS version 1.14
I upgraded to 1.17, and it does now work as expected.

I bought two MT gigabit cages units for my 260GS (gigabit to rj45 and they work fine), not the same but at least indicate that the MT cages work.
