SFP in SFP+ question

We ran into some issues with SFP in SFP+ port on CCR1009-7G-1C-1S+, link was up but no traffic was going through. Disableing auto-negotiation and configuring speed to 1Gbps on both sides seems to fix that problem in our lab. Sucesfully tested with Mikrotik, Cisco and HP devices on other side with various SM SFP module combinations.

Anyone have more experience with this? In our lab ping goes through, but didn’t get to test it yet in production. Any problems we should expect with no auto-negotiation and manual speed?

Any ROS version that has some problem? We tested with 6.42.9

I had to change the link sync to manual with every SFP module in SFP+ ports, this was on CCR1036, CCR1072 & CRS326 IIRC

Also, I think they do state that in the manual

Dropped a bunch of Cisco GLC-SX-MM’s into a CRS328-24P-4S+RM yesterday and all worked absolutely fine with auto negotiation. The “B” end’s were a CRS125, CRS112 and UniFi 8 port.
