I’m trying to use UF-INSTANT https://store.ui.com/us/en/products/uf-instant with the Netpower 16P.
The UF-INSTANT only really works when you plug-in and auto negotiation is ON. If you reboot the Mikrotik or you disable-enable the SFP port, it doesn’t come back. For make it work, psychically you have to re-plug it. If you disable auto negotiation and set 1G FULL manually, the Mikrotik says that link is OK, but is not true.
On the other hand, on CCR1036-12G-4S those SFPs works perfect with no issues.
I try changing the LAN_SDS_MODE on the UF-INSTANT, but it’s not helping.
Which ROS version? The behaviour you described was reported previously and MT did introduce some changes in recent ROS versions. Not sure if the fix really works (and 100% of time) though.

I tested v6 long term, v7 stable and v7 develop.
All of those do the same thing.
I didn’t forget to upgrade the firmware too on each test.
