SFP instability

Model CRS328-24P-4S+
Revision r2
Current installed version: 7.2.3

I have 4 x 10GB RJ45 transceivers, FS.com and Flypro brands and losing link every day, sometimes multiple times. The FS transceiver needs to be hot plugged to restore link, the Flypro transceivers usually comes back in a few seconds. I did not have any problem with 6.48 though did not use it for a very long before upgrading to v7. It seems to be a bit more stable with recent versions but still happens, and I’ve noticed it happens in clusters (multiple transceivers would go down together), see attached screenshots of the log.

It might work better if you upgrade RouterBOOT as well.

Other than that, this is a perennial topic with multiple existing threads.

I use the CRS328, CRS317, and RB4011, and several other MikroTik products with the FS modules with rOS v6. Working well. Using SFP-10GLRM-31, and the red blue combo SFP-10G-BX BiDi models, among others. All with OS2 fiber, some simplex, some duplex. If you do upgrade to rOS v7, upgrade the RouterBoard as mentioned, and then reset the configuration. Also, I don’t think rOS v7 is ready for prime-time. My opinion.
