SFP module on SFP+ cage

Hi guys,

i wanna know if SFP module works on SFP+ cage on CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+

i’m planing to use the ccr as a optical ring router.

I believe the SFP+ port will also take a SFP module without problems. This does not go for all SFP+ ports on routerboards though, but in the case of the CCR1009 it should work.

I confirm that this works. I am currently using a CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+, with 2x Cisco SFP 1000Mbit(RJ45), so I get 2 additional ports :slight_smile:
