You can use any 2.5G or 10G modules, or use multi rate SFP module. Mikrotik dont lock their routers to their own modules.
The RB4011 can't do 2.5G directly.
You can put in a 5gbe or 10gbe sfp+ ethernet module and have it connect via auto negotiation to a 2.5G ethernet device at the remote end.
The 5gbe devices (available on aliexpress) which also run at 10G on the SFP+ end work, and may run cooler and be cheaper than 10gbe devices, but warranty and support are limited.
Most of the 10gbe devices either run very hot or are expensive, compare their power consumption. (Will use somewhat less at 2.5g on ethernet side)
I'll try a multirate SFP, similar to S+RJ10. Thank you all.
I bought this SFP and it works fine.

(Port 1 of 2.5G)
For this type of SFP, the connection inside the RB4011 will always detect a rate of 10 Gbps, and on the outside (RJ45) there is a small switch that will synchronize to 1 Gbps, 2.5 Gbps, 5 Gbps, and 10 Gbps. Tested.
