Dear MK enthusiasts,
I need your help to find the best hardware SFP+ module to transport 2x10Gbps on a CCR1072 on a 400m long multimode fiber.
I have allready test this link between two CRS226 with S+85DLC03D. Link is UP, but I have lost 2 times the link on a 48h period.
Do you know if there is a compatible multimode “long range” SFP+ ?

That is extreme range for 10G mm.

That’s why I ask, perhaps someone has an awesome trick to achieve this link withtout errors

You “can” try to use single mode SFP’s. Although not meant for it, it “might” work.
But achieving 10 G is hard.
Maybe you can think in using Cisco or HP SFP’s. Mikrotik does not limit in vendor (as far as I know, I tested Ericsson, HP and Finistar). No problem.
