sfp-sfpplus1 FCS error on link - SFP+ ERROR FCS

I am having FCS error problems on my Mikrotik SFP+ optical port, I have tested with my business service provider and everything is fine.
But on my Mikrotik side it is throwing FCS type errors in log, I have changed the SFP+ 3 times to rule out that it is not an incompatibility problem.
Please help, when these errors occur they cause me to lose packets on my internet link.


I tried with a 10gtek module and now I tried with a Cisco-Prolabs module… when the FCS errors occur the link drops and I lose connectivity with my provider, on the other end of my internet provider there is also a Cisco Prolabs SFP+ module SFPPLR31-10-CJ.

My mikrotik is CCR1009-8G-1G-1S-1S+

I already tried to turn off the autonegotiation, force it to 10G only but the problem persists.

I had no luck with my sfp+ port using an SJR10+ ethernet cage attached to my CCR1009 connecting to FIbre OP modem.
The modem has fibre in and ethernet out.

I think the CCR1009 SFP+ is broken. :frowning:

Same here, css610-8p-2S+in with srj10+ brand new out the box, tested 3 cables brand new against a NAS 10gbe port, buffalo Terastation with windows storage servers. Tons of tx fcs errors.
Dissappointment is an understatement.
