Sfp-sfpplus13 excessive broadcasts/multicasts, probably a loop message when connected devices reboot

Hello,

When a PC, NUC, or other device connected to my MikroTik router/switch is powered off and then powered on again, I sometimes see the following log message:

"sfp-sfpplus13 excessive broadcasts/multicasts, probably a loop"

I would like to understand what causes this message.

So far, I have not experienced any actual network outages or device crashes when this message appears. The router and switch continue to operate normally.

I already contacted MikroTik support, but they mentioned that configuration-related issues are difficult to assist with directly, so I decided to ask here on the forum.

Has anyone experienced something similar or knows what might trigger this message?

Thank you

ROS 7.21.2

Using CCR2116, CRS326, CRS317, hAP ax2

Good, but in order to (hopefully) assist you on the forum you will need to post your configuration, instructions here:

This problem seems apparent recently with the following setups.

Bonding - Active/Backup mode - during switching from one interface to the other - the probably a loop message is displayed.

RTSP with 2 interfaces - during switching from one interface to the other if RTSP is triggered - the probably a loop message is displayed.

A loop is in fact triggered as the switches upstream also trigger the message when this occurs.

Mikrotik should have a look.

Ok, As soon as will upload. Thank you
