I have a RB411L router board set up for my tenant in the main house and internet is working fine through PPPoE set up and DHCP.
I would like to share the connection with the flat on the premises by using two separate accounts on PPPoE on Radius Manager.
I can set up another account on Radius for the second tenant, and then need to configure the RB750.
Thus the tenant in the main house must have their own account and the tenant in the flat their own. I have a RB750 to do this.
Not sure about the configuration.
I would really appreciate help doing this please.
Thank you
Hennie.
Hey. You can’t share one PPPoE session between people inside LAN. Way you can do is to bridge PPPoE traffic of second account with different VLANs from your ISP switch through your first router to another one and terminate VLAN tag on it and then, terminate PPPoE traffic. Or you can terminate only VLAN, and PPPoE you can terminate on laptop.
If your goal is to provide 2 different accounts from your internet provider, then you can use bridge function to make traffic flow to your tenant. You will have first account and he - second one. If your ISP permit it.
