Sharing configs between routers

Hi

I have configured my router to a state that I want my client’s router to be in, with a few scripts, wireless settings etc. I send him my .backup file and he restores that on his router.

The problem is that his router does not come back up after loading the settings (or something similar). He has tried firmware reset and it doesn’t seem to work for him even then, but it works for me.

What might be the problem? This is my fist tme using a mikrotik router so maybe I am missing something obvious?

We both have routerboard 751u-2hnd.

yes, backup file is only intended to be used on the same router it was created on. If you want to move configuration better use /export compact (for 6.x compact is default)
