Sharp printer and Mikrotik dropped pages

We are hosting alot of terminal servers for customers in our datacenter and are using Mikrotik for the VPN tunnels for the customers offices to connect into our network. Currently we are having major problems with printers where pages starts to get buffered and then suddenly restarts. This results in that only the first 2-3 pages gets printed 5-10 copies. The rest of the pages are gone. This problem only occurs on Sharp printers. All other printers like HP, Canon, Kyocera, Toshiba, Ricoh are ok.

We believe it has to do with packet size thats to big for Sharp NIC to handle, but with the help from Sharp Tech Center changing the size didn’t made any difference.

Does anyone else have similar problems like this? Or any idea of what is causing this behaviour?

We had a similar problem with another printer vendor when we would try to use the VPN. Ultimately, most of those clients could use the VPN, but some had to moved outside of the VPN and port forwarded. We were not able to say with absolute certainty what the problem was, but we did notice that those clients all had mediocre Internet connections. That was the only thing we could find in common.
