should i upgrade RB951Ui-2HnD to v7 ?

Hi,

I have RB951Ui-2HnD version 6.48.6 and i would like to upgrade to v7. is that a good idea to upgrade knowing that the RAM will decrease.

Good idea ? Depends on what you expect from upgrading.

If you do not really need the new features present in ROS7, it’s not needed.
Stay on ROS6 latest version (long term or stable).

If you need some of the new features, it should run fine (but be aware, new features = new bugs ).
I have mapLite and map (same resources as hap) and they run just fine on ROS7.
But of course it depends on what you exactly do with your device. If you are currently already running against the memory limits, that will most likely not improve when moving to ROS7, on the contrary.
You can always try. If it poses a problem, downgrade again.

Actually, i need to create AdGuard home container instead of install it on specific Linux server, i will try it as you said.

Container package is only available for arm, arm64 or x86 devices.
Will not work on hap.
