Should I upgrade to RouterOS 7 ?

Hello,
I have a CRS326-24G-2S+RM and a hAP AC2 both running RouterOS 6.49.4.
What would be the advantages (if any) of upgrading to RouterOS 7.1.3 from a feature / performance / CPU usage / bug fixing perspective ?
Are they any limitations I should be aware of ?
Thank you in advance for your help!
Michel

There are some functions that are not implemented yet in v7. Whether this is problem for you or not is not possible to tell, only you know all the details about your use case.
Performance-wise v7 doesn’t change much on vast majority of devices (yours in assumed use case included) , actually routing capacity may seem to degrade somewhat (because route caching us not used any more, specially speed tests benefited from it quite a lot, usual teaffic not so much).
ROS v7 seems to be less robust performer than v6, but this (again) depends on particular use case.
Configuration migration can break if configuration is not exactly trivial, so reconfiguration might be needed.

All in all: if you have to ask on forum, then no, you don’t need v7 yet. Stay with 6.49.x and monitor forum to assess when v7 shortcomings will vanish.

Thank you for your answer.
