Should I use WDS in wireless bridge links?

Hello.

I have some Mikrotik PtP and PtmP links.
Everywhere I use “AP bridge” and “station bridge” for PtMP configurations or “bridge” and “station bridge” for PtP configuration. WDS is switched off. All works fine.

One guy told me that it’s better to switch on WDS 'cause it uses buffers more smoothly providing much better performance in case of heavy traffic.
Is this true ?

Don’t think so but you’ll never know until you make test in your environment. What are your results?
