Show MAC addr device

Hi Seniors,

Greetings…

i’m using RB751 OS version 5.12, is there any way to show device name in log instead of MAC addr? i’d like to see the device name who connected to my router, if only a MAC addr showed up, i can’t recognize the device..
i really need your advise..

If you are using RB751 as a DHCP server then you can reconize PCs via their name from Leases.

I really dont get it, can u please show me the steps? can i recognize the mobile phone connected to my router as well?

If you have configured RB751 as DHCP server. then use the below command. Yes it can recognize your fone name too.

/ip dhcp-server lease pr

can we show it in LOG? instead of MAC addr only, it will be a lot more easier…
