Sierra USB 885 3G modem + RouterBoard 433UAH

Hi,

I’m trying to set up a 3g connection with this usb modem, y get 7 available channels but no one gives me response via serial-terminal.

The hard is supported (i’m using RouterOS V4.6), but i don’t know why the modem don’t answer on any channel (so i can’t login to provider)

Port is setted up to 9600 kbps, it appears in USB2, i try other modems (same model) and in all ports… but still getting no answer.

Any ideas?

I found that channel 3 for both data channel and info channel worked for my 885 on AT&T. All other values were default. I couldn’t get it to work with channels 0, 1 or 2. It worked with 3 and I stopped there.

Yep, this one works on USB port 3. And gives no answer by default. But if you set it, it finally response. Weird but it works.
