Sierra Wireless 3G EVDO Card in Via Motherboard

Hello,

I have a Via chipset x86 motherboard with Router OS that works fine. It has 2 USB ports, one of which I have installed a Sierra Wireless Compass 597 USB 3G EVDO Card. It does not show up in the list of interfaces. Should it? If not, is there a way to install a driver that would make it work?

It will not appear in Interfaces. If it’s supported, it will appear as a new port. You will then have to make a new PPP connection via this port. See here for example:
