Is there any way to limit users if they have signal level lets say -85 to forbid to connect?
maybe some script?
I talked to a guy that make a system that had that very feture. He did it so that the self install customers would not drag his network down with slower speeds. Only problem is that he uses almost all zcomax radios.
The way it worked was to poll the clients signal level and if it drops to a set level it would remove them from the MAC list and if the next three polls showed them high enought it would put them back in.
Would forcing the supported transmit rates only to the high ones (5.5 and 11 for b, 36-54 for a/g) work for you? It’s crude, but might do the job.
