SImple bridge hAP ac2 to Draytek Vigor 2710

Hi,

I have just bought a Mikrotik hAP AC2. The flexibility and functionality looked great so thought it would be perfect but I am really struggling.

I have a simple configuration. WAN internet (NBN in Australia) ethernet plugged into hAP port 1. Everything worked immediately and I confgured wireless LAN (wLan-HP).

I now want to connect wLan-HP to an old Draytek Vigor 2710 for wireless extension and to plug in VOIP phone into ethernet port of Vigor. The Vigor will be the slave so no internet config or DHCP.

I have set up the Vigor with DHCP off, Bridge mode on the WLAN, added the MAC of wLan-HP, choosen the same wireless channel. Ihave tried both usingthe same SSID and different.

When I scan on the hAP I can see the Vigor WLAN but I cannot get them connected. I have tried every configuration I can find online but nothing has worked.

Please help.

Need config of the hapac to start.

You want the (old) Vigor 2710 as wifi client to the hAP ac2? A client can not be seen by a wifi scan (only an AP sends beacons).
Not sure this Draytek can be configured that way.
I never managed to connect Mikrotik WDS with Draytek WDS either.
