I’ve got the Dude monitoring several wireless radios that are running on private addresses, and have the Dude server with an internal address as well for doing this. I was thinking that if I could get a simple http proxy server, I could connect to the Dude remotely and proxy through it to check out the internal customer radios without having to VPN or do any other complicated connections (maybe even create a tool in the Dude to open a web browser to ‘http://dude.server/proxy.cgi?customer.radio’).
Has anyone tried something like this or know of a simple http proxy that doesn’t require configuring a web browser?
