Simple lab OSPF help

Disclaimer: Newb here.

Alright, so I have 3 mikrotiks (2xRB2011 and 1x750GL) connected “in series” with one attached to my DSL router. I have an AirFiber < – > AirFiber link with one end on a router.

Long story short, I’m trying to setup the 3 routers via OSPF. So far, that works! They share eachother’s routes and all routers have access to the internet via my DSL router.

Only problem is, I can’t ping between subnets on the network. EG: 10.0.0.5 can’t ping 10.4.0.102, etc. From what I can gather, the ICMP packet traversing the network to the appropriate router, and (I think) even to the device, but it never returns.

  • In this setup, Router A can ping 10.4.0.102, 10.0.0.1, and 10.100.0.1. Router B can’t ping 10.4.0.102, but can ping the others (10.1.0.1 and 10.100.0.1).
    The only NAT I have is between Router A and my DSL modem (set to masquerade).
    No interfaces (other than “LAN” on a few routers) are bridged.
    I have a few firewall rules that basically open up everything (for testing purposes… doesn’t seem to matter though as it is open by default).

Any suggestions? I’m pulling my hair out… :cry:

Please show route table on RadioA.
And check default gateway on RadioA. Maybe, RadioA not known how access to RouterB.

Hey! So I figured it out. Turns out the gateway of the offending radio wasn’t set properly. I feel like an idiot. :stuck_out_tongue:

Though now I can’t seem to ping the connected radio… could that also be a gateway issue?

If I have a setup like this: RouterA → RadioA <—> RadioB ← RouterB

And they’re established like this: 10.0.0.1/29 → 10.0.0.2/29 <—> 10.0.0.3/29 ← 10.0.0.4/29

What gateway do I set the radios to? Right now I’m connected to RouterA and can ping RadioA and RouterB just fine (I just can’t access RadioB). RadioA has its gateway as 10.0.0.1 and RadioB to 10.0.0.4. Perhaps that’s the wrong way of doing things? :S
