Hi i just set up 5 aps in wds mesh dynamic , and two of them is directly conected to our main switch that have our routers..
i would like to know how does the mesh protocol knows which is the best path to reach the peer directly connected.?
i’'m asking that because all aps see each other them all aps have 4 peers..

For WDS links the metric is updated dynamically depending on actual link bandwidth, which in turn is influenced by wireless signal strength, and the selected data transfer rate.
Currently the protocol does not take in account the amount of bandwidth being used on a link, but that might be also used in future.
