hello
i have a mikrotik server 3.2
i have about 10 clients. some are corporate clients and some are distributors themselves.
what i want to do is limit bandwidth for the corporate clients after a certain time.
lets say i want to give them 256k/256k from 7 am to 7 pm and then 128/128k from 7pm to 7am. i want this only for the corporate clients.
i have tried setting 2 queues for the client by setting starting time on one from 07:00:00 to 18:59:59 and the second queue is set to 19:00:00 to 06:59:59
but it won’t take the timing for the second queue. i tried with 1d 06:59:59 but the router OS still won’t accept it. what am i doing wrong here?
please help me on this.
thank you
Niamul
Just add a second queue with no time and place it after the first one. If the rule doesn’t match with the first one, then it willl be applied on the other one.

How did you achieve the above, cus i want to set bandwidth limting for my users, on hotspot and wireless.
the above can be achieved with simple queuing. In case you use HotSpot, you need to use scripts and scheduler to change the bandwitdh dinamically
