I need a count of total bytes in simple queue, but whenever reboot or power off router , this info is lost. Can you help me how to save this info.
I’ll join this topic. In general it’d be nice to have an option to preserve counters after reboot. For firewall, queues and everything. It’s not that much data to store at shutdown after all.
You would need to store it regularly like graphs data because saving only on correct reboot is obviously not enough.
Please point to me how I can save to graphs, are you referring to graph eg cacti. Can I save this info using mikrotik api. I also read I can get this info from traffic flow.
You have misunderstood. The counters should be generally stored like the graphing data in ros are stored, otherwise they will be lost on power loss. Because the counters are not saved and there is no option to enable the saving, it is a feature request that should be properly rised.
