I have been working with Mikrotik for a couple months now and can’t seem to figure this out. When I create a simple queue on CPE’s and set the maximum download rate to 5mbps for example and max upload rate to 2mbps it seems that the download speed on a bandwidth test caps out at the 2mbps that was set for the upload queue. If I set both the upload and download to 5mbps however, the download speed will be right at 5 as it should be. I would like to be able to queue my upload speeds slower than my download speeds without this happening. Any ideas on why this happens this way and how to resolve it? Thanks in advance.
