Simple Queues

Good Day,

I am messing around with simple queues and have a question.

Let’s say I setup a simple queue like this:

Target Address: 192.168.0.0/24
Max Limits: 2M/10M

Does this mean that the entire subnet share’s 10M, so if one is downloading at 5M another user has 5M left to use, or does this give each user (192.168.0.1, 192.168.0.2, etc) have 10M each? So if two users were downloading at once, i’d have a total of 20M used?

Also, with the priority, is 8 lower and 1 higher, or 8 higher and 1 lower?

Thank you!

That would mean that whole subnet combined is limited to that bandwidth but does not mean it will be divided equally between users. For that you need to use PCQ.
