Although I worked with their router products wayyy back in the 1990’s when it first came out. But now their products have become very exciting in the wireless world.
I seem to have a problem with two RB192’s that i am configuring for a network. I have two wireless cards in each. Wlan1 on each card is an access point and wlan2 is a point to point with each other. The problem is I am allocating Ip’s at both access points with dhcp and it does that fine…however I cannot seem to figure out how to get the dhcp IP’s to talk to ether1 to go out to the internet. I thought perhaps bridging..but when i did that I already had a bridge for ether1 to wlan2 and it would not allow me to make another bridge to ether1 to wlan1. So then I thought maybe a static route…I am so confused here that I can’t seem to get it straight. Any help someone might have would be greatly appreciated.
I REALLY like this Mikrotik product.
