I’d like to know that I’m missing something simple.
I need a stripped-down HTML(?) interface allowing an end-user to read and change a handfull of settings on MT.

Hotspot: Can read some items but not write. (And what a mess just to use a custom HTML file! Should be able to use the directory without the dynamic rules.)

SNMP: Read lots of stuff but not write.

Anybody have any luck trying something like this? Maybe an app to talk directly; I’m not sure if values can be passed in the background to MT.

My head is fried from getting nowhere. And not from 2.9.17. :slight_smile:

It would be nice to have a Lite WinBox that an administrator can enable or disable menus and or access to certin information etc for a user.

Open up http servlet on any of the router and use Webbox (upper right corner)

Uninstall unnecessary packages in order to get rid of some menus in winbox

WEBBOX might ba a good place to start looking for ways to build something. Did find out one thing: go to router_ip/cfg to bypass the MT screen. Everybody already knew that. But we have 80 blocked on the input and don’t look there too much…
