Simple Wireless Repeater for existing Wireless Signal

Hi,

sorry for this Question, but somehow I couldn’t find a different Post for it.
I simply want a Mikrotik to repeat an existing Wireless Signal. The existing Wireless Signal on the other Hand is wpa encrypted and can’t be modified.
So no WDS, etc…
All methods seen on the Forum are using WDS or different methods between 2 mikrotiks, but how do I extend the Coverage for a regular Wireless Signal not from Mikrotik?

You are not currently able to extend the signal of a non-MikroTik AP with a MikroTik AP. The closest you can come to it to use to wireless cards.

Most manufacturer WDS methods are not compatible with each other

I know that WDS isn’t compatible most times with other Hardware, but as described the Signal which needs to be extended doesn’t have WDS.
I was trying to repeat a Signal, as you can do with all cheap Wireless Repeaters out there. (Tp-link, D-link, etc…)
But I was looking for a Solution that is very stable, and therefore I wanted to go with Mikrotik.

In fact, I even think it was possible with hardware MikroTik. For example, it is possible to set a RB951 as a repeater like those of tplink or similar brands?
