simple WLAN client not getting IP

I have a RB433AH routerboard with routeros 4.11.
I try to connect to a wireless AP. (After I have this running I want to share it through NAT).

For the wlan1 interface I have set mode to station and the band to 2.4Ghz-B/G.
After a scan I connect to the desired network.
In the ‘registration’ tab it shows that the link is up. (and in the interface is says ‘connected to ess’ in the bottom).

I’ve made a DHCP client for wlan1. It cannot get a lease.

What bothers me is that I cannot see which security settings are needed for this AP. There is no question / notice or result.

I tried to make security profile:
After connecting with a windows PC, it says

security type: no authentication (open)
encryption type: WEP
key index: 1

Mode: “static keys required”
For static keys I filled key 0 and 1. Transmit key = key 0.
Did not work (no lease)
Tried a St. Private key (40bit wep). Also did not work.

I’ve even made an item in the connect list, which had no effect.

Anybody any idea?

If the link shows it is up, then there is no problem with security connection and if you set the dhcp client on the Wlan and does not get a ip, then the problem is probably on the AP point side.
