Maybe I am to dump. Is there another way instead von 1:1 NAT for bringing SIP traffic through the MT box wit NAT?
I think RouterOS3 beta has ‘SIP’ NAT helper (‘ip firewall service-port’), probably it can help you, but remember RouterOS3 is still beta.
SIP work trought masquarade normaly. I tested it also with 3 masquarade
on 3 routers connected in line only 3rd router had 1 public IP and it also work.
maybe one day SIP server on MT ?.. basic service only ?![]()
why?
Please don’t! (And I’m sure MikroTik won’t…)
RouterOS is just that - a ROUTER OS. Every other application service should be left to other devices. And that the 3.0 beta1 has “lost” it’s telephony (H.232) package should be a clear indication of the direction RouterOS is taking…
