We have an RB411A device with the newest ROS. Usually we backup our config via FTP service. It works from a long time ago.
Nowadays we noticed, that the FTP backup didn’t worked. We checked and noticed, that the .skins/skins/skins directory is more than 50 dir deep and deeper and deeper on the router…
We use the default skin.
What could cause this? We checked the config a few more times.

Remove all the direcories and upgrade to RouterOS v6.26:
http://www.mikrotik.com/download/share/all_files_6latest.zip
Check if you can repeat the issue with the latest built. We have some fixes for
the skin folder
