Hiya Guys,

so been at this for two days! Going crazy now.

AIM!! - To be able to extend the usage of my SkyQ Mini Box to my workshop the otherside of the village

Wireless Link - PPPOE tunneled at both ends MTU 1492 MRRU 1600 (Part of a larger network)

EOIP Tunnel between the two - DHCP works fine. Sky box connects. You can see around 4mbps traffic for a short period whilst it says connecting. It then presents a PROXIMITY ERROR MR109.

I have got no further, I have set up two routers next to one another (Cabled) Set up EOIP tunnel between the both and SKY q works fine. The moment I extend it via the Wireless link it kills it.

All I can assume is they are looking at latency. Have an average of 6ms to 9ms over the tunnel.

I have thought about TTL issues, so did set up a Rule e.g. PREROUTING - SKYBRIDGE - CHANGE TTL - 4 (also tried 20) passthrough yes and no. Still no joy.

Anyone have any thoughts?

Hi.
I googled the error.. and got this:

“From some research on UK forums, it seems turning off the auto download of next episode, resolves the issue, as it appears to be some issue with the box itself and some internal clash with both activities, watching downloaded program whilst auto download of next episode kicks in. This only happens on the mini box, main box has no issues.”
