Is there a way to put The Dude to sleep for a while while you perform maintenance on your network? Apart from shutting the service down?

Case in point. I have Dude running on a machine that’s connected to a switch and on to an RB433AH. It’s through this routerboard that Dude probes the rest of the network.

I’ve just done some work on that specific Routerboard and powered it down for a couple of minutes while I upgraded an R52H to an R5H. By the time I got to my desk, there were over 600 emails waiting for me telling me that basically every router on our network and every CPE had been down and then up again.

From the client, click top left “settings” button, click “polling” tab, remove check mark from notification.
Only works correctly if global notification is the only setting since you can customize notification per device the per device settings override the global settings.
