We have a RB951-G along with gigabit switches.
With devices connected via the switch(dell Powerconnect 2808 unmanaged mode) we are only getting 80-90 Mbps on a 4 foot cable
When directly connecting two devices to the router on ports 4 and 5 with 4 foot cables, we are only getting 300 to 500 Mbps.
I am using Lan Speed Test (Lite) to run speed tests between the two devices.
Should I not be expecting speeds nearer to 1 Gbps? I would be happy with 800Mbps.
P.S. pc’s are reporting gigabit connection and the router is also reporting gigabit speeds but not producing them.
