My customer have a Mikrotik PPPoE Server, about 550 PPPoE clients (+simple queue)
and 100 MBits (real, checked) Internet connectivity.
But it experiences slow perfomances of PPPoE Server.
The max throughput from all PPPoE clients is about 40 MBits… no more.
Using two PPPoE Server, the throughput go over the 40 Mbits.
The machines are x86 multicore (tried also i7 CPU), ROS version
4.17, 5.24 and also 6.0RC12… no more of 40 MBits on single PPPoE Server.
Can you help me?
