FIrst and foremost i’m quitte new to the mikrotik community but after learning the basic trough tutourials and searching the web I managedto create a basic setup with 2 WAN’s and 4 AP’s.
But i keep running into the following problem on 1 WAN port:
The first problem occured when i did not block the acces to my 4G router on the WAN1 port, smartphone (wifi) users kept getting a message they needed to login and got continiously redirected to the routers webpage. I searched google and found to add a rule to the firewall to drop the connection to that routers webpage. After adding the rule everything seemed to work fine, but after a while some users got a message “connected to wifi no internet”. But browsing works just fine altough some apps do complain about the error and you have to manually set “use this network anyway”.
The problems seems to occur when the 4G router has had a reboot, and as soon as one user can visit the webpage (after disabeling the firewall rule) the issue dissapears completely.
I am suspecting this has something to do with http://connectivitycheck.gstatic.com/generate_204 beeing unaccesible for some strange reason ?
Altough all DNS-es are alle set to 8.8.8.8 and 1.1.1.1.
Help would be greatly appreciated,
