Here I send us an example of a smart client, WeRoam one. A smart client sends the data via GET method instead of POST. Actually a smart client is installed in an user laptop as a resident program. So when the user switch on his laptop, this program scans the wireless networks with the goal of finding a specific ESSID. If this ESSId is found, then this program tries to connect it using user/passwd that we had configured in this smart client. This kind of SW clients are used by roaming partners typically with the objective of connecting only to their ESSID hotspots.
