Smartphone access?

Hi,
I’m new with mikrotik router and would have the following question. Is it possible to create a firewall rule that I can connect only with my smartphone? I have a rule, that allows to connect via api-ssl, but is it possible to delimit to one specific device?

For example. I have also a rule to connect from a PC in my office, but here I can specify an IP address that allow this particular IP address. Can I do this also with a smartphone because when I’m on the way I don’t have always the same ip address from the mobil provider.

I use hAP ac (RB962UiGS-5HacT2HnT) and hope, my question is understandable. :wink: Or is this a big security breach?

Use some tunnelling for that.

You can use VPN or buy a static IP from your service provider, in some countries it’s possible but expensive.
