since 2007 we have Mikrotik hotspots on camping sites.
In those days there were laptops and even some tablets. No problems! It worked.
Now… smartphones, allways connecting to check mails, whatsapp, Facebook etc. …
Our problem: we can see when they connect, but the idle time out keeps resetting because of those checks!!
So clients have uptimes (sessions) of hours, but they keep telling us they have no normal internet connection (= surfing!).
Google is searching, searching and keeps searching.
Who has the same problems?
