Can’t add any SNMP community.When I try to open IP–SNMP I’l get SNMP Setting:
Enabled = empty
Trap Community (is red) = unknown
Can’t add any community in the communities section.
When I try to insert something like this “/snmp community set public name=“public” address=192.168.0.5/32 read-access=yes” in the terminal the terminal is hang and don’t respond.
I was having this problem with 6.35.x (not sure which point release).
I updated to 6.37.3 and two things happened. First, my missing SNMP community reappeared. Next I discovered that I could again create a new SNMP community.
Hello,
We ran into this issue today across 26 devices in our network when trying to activate SNMP.
All 26 were RB2011iL devices ranging from ROS v6.30.4-6.34.3, so I believe the bug is in at least those versions.
This may be related only to the 2011 devices though, as we don’t see the issue with other devices (yet).
Mikrotik Support - Please look into this and fix (Or let us know which version fixes this bug).
I should add that when this issue is happening, CPU is maxed out at 100%, and profile shows the snmp process hogging all the CPU, so I’m concerned that this bug could cause other issues in our environment.
