I am running an RB1100 with 5.0rc7 with some 320 people on the active list. I know it is a lot of people on one hotspot. I did a SNMPwalk from Dude, and It is going through sucking info for several minutes, and it gets to record 2680 and it stops, and I notice that 320 people deauthcate and the radius server can’t get them back on, so I had to reboot the router. This is the second time that this exact thing has happened. The CPU is running around 60-70% when I start this, and notice that it is running 99% to 100% when this breaks. I shut the SNMP walk down, and this didn’t fix the problem. Is this because SNMP walk is a intense with the CPU.
Also I notice that the CPU runs quite a bit higher when I have winbox connected to the router. This is the first time I have tried verse 5.0 I don’t remember see a 30% increase to the CPU graph, when I have winbox connected on verse 4.15. Or is this an error in the graphing.
