SNMPv3 and link label on the map

Hello,
Since my Wed Jan 11, 2012 1:03 pm post, I have elements that show you the the bad dude map link label in SNMPv3.

  1. the response speed on the port 1 of the switch 12 is good. See the image attachment.
    device_ports_snmp_features.JPG
  2. the link features on the port 1 of the switch 12
    link_features.JPG
  3. and the map is not good, we have Rx: 0 bps/Tx 0 bps or later Rx: [Interface.InBitRate] Tx: [Interface.OutBitRate] but never the good value

With SNMPv1, I have no problem, the link label speed is Ok.
Because securities requirements I would like SNMP V3.

Is the dude software Ok with SNMPv3 ?
thanks

I have exactly the same issue. In fact searching the threads, there are numerous posts on this problem with no fix/suggestions.

etc.

I have tried version 3.6 and v4.0beta3 and the issue is the same.

I have tried limiting the OIDs exported on the switches to just the “interfaces” MIB, but it makes no difference.

If I use SNMP v2c it works fine. There really is a bug with SNMP v3 that needs investigating.

Same issue. I have set my network equipment up so that SNMP v1 has only a READ community and SNMP v3 has both Read and Write access configured. The Dude accesses the SNMP v1 community string. This gives me all the monitoring, alerting and traffic statistics. When I want to make changes to network equipment configs I either use SSH (launched as a Dude Tool) or use the network equipment manufacturer’s SNMP management applications which do work properly using SNMP v3.
