I guess, first and foremost, given the timing of the project at hand, if anyone in Melb, Aus, is a consultant / configurer of MikroTik hardware, i’d love to hear from you.
having said that, this is the scenario I am presently presented with.
I have a RouterBOARD 450/G which has been updated to 4.17
This is the layout of the network and functionality I need to implement.
Dual Internet connections
- ADSL Service - Static IP - Additional IP’s (Subnet of 8 and a Subnet of 16)
- Cable Service - Dynamic IP
I need to implement the 2 connections as follows.
Default gateway for all workstations - CABLE EXCEPT for any outgoing RDP connections - ADSL
(This will be done via DHCP from the DHCP server in place)
Default gateway for all servers - ADSL EXCEPT some sites/remote IP’s - CABLE
(All servers have internal static ip addresses NAT’d to one of the external IP addresses we are assigned)
(There are 4 internal servers that we are dealing with at present, others to be implemented later)
Can this device accomplish this configuration for me?
