[Solved] Hotspot Login Screen Not Appearing.

I have a RB750GL running a hotspot while I tinkered with a RB450G.

The RB450G I used the GUI System/Reset Configuration option, and then tried setting a simple Hotspot up using the wizard.

Everything seems to be ok (I get assigned an IP address that I set for this MAC in the DHCP Lease).

What I don’t see is the router redirecting me to a login page >>> for example: http://192.168.1.1/login?dst=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com%2Fwebhp%3Fsource%3Dsearch_app

. . . when I try to go to something like Google, so I can enter the password to get online.

In the server Profiles I have the Hotspot Login set to Login by HTTP CHAP . . . is there something else I am missing?
I basically have now tried copying the settings from the RB750GL to get the RB450G working and it isn’t. I have checked the settings several times and they all look the same, but I can’t seem to see what it is I am missing.

Thanks for the help.

in files is there hotspot folder available ?

check

attached your config snap if possible

Thanks samir494 for the response.

Yes the files are there.

It turns out that all I needed to do was under the IP>Hotspot>Server Tab was select my hotspot server and click on the “Reset HTML” button.

I just never noticed that button before until now.

As soon as I did that, everything worked perfectly.

Hopefully that helps someone else in the future.
